Conference of IED Africa For some years, it has been noted the acceleration of the phenomenon of concentration of large areas of land in the hands of private investors. This phenomenon known by different names “land grabbing”, “massive land acquisitions”, large-scale land appropriation”, etc. has been the source of many conflicts and has taken on worrying proportions with consequences for all categories, including women. Faced with such a situation, women strive to make their voices heard and some have distinguished themselves by their commitment.
